The in person Twin Cities Ballet Company Audition on March 29, 2020 is CANCELLED.

We will be accepting auditions via video until further notice.

Video Audition Requirements:

Submit the following Audition materials by email:

• Your resumé.

• Two Photos: 1st Arabesque (on Pointe for women) and a Head Shot showing at least 3/4 face. Either attach small format photos or provide a link.

• Video link including

  • One side only of each barre exercise (plié, tendu, degagé, passé développé en croix, and grand battement)

  • Center work (tendu, pirouettes, adagio, petit allegro, grand allegro)

  • Pointe work

  • A variation from the classical repertoire in the classroom or on stage (this should clearly show your classical ballet technique)

  • A Contemporary variation of your choice

• State whether you are currently eligible to work in the United States.

• Let us know which position you are seeking: Salaried Company Dancer, Unpaid Apprentice, or Trainee.

Company Positions Currently Available for the 2020/2021 Season:

Company: Soloist and Principal level, competitive salaried position, 34-week season.

Apprentice: Unpaid Apprentice positions for dancers eighteen and older seeking performance opportunities, training, and artistic development to grow, gain experience, and better prepare for a company position.

Trainees: High school-age, for those who wish to receive the finest training available and perform with a professional company alongside professional dancers in professional productions, while on a path to a professional career.
