Master teachers join our renowned faculty and local guest instructors to give professional instruction in a structured and focused setting. Ballet Royale's Summer Intensives are comprehensive day programs providing the finest professional instruction for all ages, for those students striving to reach his or her full potential.

AUDITION REQUIRED for all SUMMER INTENSIVES AND WORKSHOPS:
June 17 –21, 2024: MALE DANCER BALLET INTENSIVE
Recommended ages: 10-26 years old.Unique in Minnesota, this weeklong Intensive Program is for motivated aspiring Male Identifying Dancers ages 10 through adult. Designed by former Professional Ballet Dancer Rick Vogt, this program focuses on strength, power, technique, and performance. These classes provide a rare opportunity for men and boys to gain invaluable skills and insights beyond those presented in mixed classes. Students receive individualized attention and coaching from the state’s foremost male ballet teachers. Classes include Ballet Technique, Targeted Strength Training, and Classical Variations.
June 10- June 28, 2024: Focused Training Program
Recommended for Academy Intermediate I+ and Pre-Pro 4A+ or ages 11–24 years old.

*This program can be taken for the full three weeks or in two or one week blocks
June 10 – 14 or June 17-21, 2024: Division II June Mini Ballet Intensive, Recommended Ages: 9+, w/minimum of three years of ballet technique.
June 10 – 14, 2024: Division I June Mini Ballet Intensive, Recommended Ages: 8+ w/ minimum of one year of ballet technique.
July 8-26, 2024: JULY 3 Week SUMMER INTENSIVE
Dancers Accepted into Division II, III & Upper Division, Recommended ages: 9-26 years old
Guest Faculty: TBA
July 15 – 29, 2024: JULY DIVISION I Two Week Intensive
Dancers Accepted into Division I, Recommended ages: 8+, no pointe
August 5– 16, 2024: Ballet Royale GRAND PRIX VARIATIONS WORKSHOP
Workshop for Intermediate (ages 12+) through Professionals. Select Dancers who Audition for Ballet Royale’s Summer Intensives may be invited to participate in the August Grand Prix Variations Workshop.
The Grand Prix Variations Workshop has 2 levels:
Junior (12-14yrs)
Senior (15-20 yrs)
