FlexPlan Program and Custom Schedules
In addition to our regular Classical Ballet curriculum of study, Ballet Royale also has class options to accommodate those seeking a more flexible or less intensive schedule.
Ballet Royale FlexPlan Program:
Students who have been placed into Advanced Youth II or higher may choose to join the FlexPlan Program to better accommodate other activities and interests. This program allows students to continue receiving the same top quality professional training at Ballet Royale, but on a less intense, more flexible schedule.
FlexPlan students also have several performance opportunities, should they choose to participate, including performing Ballet in the end of school year Showcase, “A Celebration of Dance.”
The FlexPlan Program consists of four levels and runs the full school year. FlexPlan Program students take a minimum two ballet technique classes per week; in order to be eligible for pointe classes, a minimum of three ballet technique classes per week is required. Students may further customize their schedules by choosing additional elective classes.
NOTE: CLASS TIMES ARE NOT YET UPDATED FOR THE 2017-18 SCHOOL YEAR

Open Enrollment Program
Open enrollment dancers will be placed in the classes consistent with their ability, and fall under three categories.
Personal Training Plan: This is a customized class schedule designed in advance to meet the goals of students of any age desiring a less intensive, more recreational training program. Tuition is based on the number of hours taken each week, calculated and due in advance per Term. Please contact Ballet Royale prior to enrolling in the Open Enrollment Personal Training Plan program for guidance in determining the appropriate class level, pricing and scheduling.
Adult Hourly Class Card: Adults (19 or older) may purchase a Ten-Hour Class Card instead of, or in addition to, enrolling in a specific class per Term. Class Cards are valid for any regularly scheduled Adult/Teen Ballet or Modern Dance, Group Pilates, or Yoga Classes. Adults with no prior ballet training may not use a class card until they have taken at least one Term of beginning ballet. Note, to ensure maximum flexibility between class lengths and days, Class Cards are based on hours taken, not the number of classes. Cards are $165 for ten class hours, and expire on the last day of regular Spring Term classes each year.
Professional Dance Instructors are invited to take single classes without formal enrollment in the school. These classes are $16 per class.
Opportunities to perform in the end of year Studio Showcase Performance "A Celebration of Dance," presented by the Pre-Ballet Creative Dance, Performance Track and Youth Ballet Programs, and Twin Cities Ballet's professional productions will be discussed with the student and decided by the school directors. Pricing is determined by directors on a case by case basis.
